I have tried many manufacturers, always trying to look for lower pricing. What is the use of buying ones less expensive versions if they don't work well. So, I only purchase this brand now. They are comfortable in hand, durable (yep, you can have them re-sharpened if they get dull or have dented in a drop in the sink), they work on the tiniest of hairs (I tend to criticize my face at very close range-I'm sure many can relate) and this one can be sterilized if needed. Plus, they come in a several colors, matte or polished stainless. I have several in rotation in order of dullness as well as keeping them each bathroom, a first aid kit and a travel bag. After researching brands, I decided to buy the Rubis Switzerland Pink Elegance Swiss Tweezers. This tweezer is very sharp and I have to be careful not to pinch if I get too close to the skin. It does not seem to get the very fine hairs any better than a good moderate priced tweezer. While it does what it advertises, it does not appear to do it well enough to justify the higher price. I do like the fact that there is an end cover to protect the tweezer edge. |
